Andrew D. Mikell, Esq.
State Manager & Title Counsel
Andy was engaged in private practice for 13 years before becoming State Manager and Title Counsel at Vermont Attorneys Title Corporation (VATC) in 1997. At VATC Andy is a problem solver – helping over 200 member attorneys and their staffs resolve title issues. He graduated from Williams College and Vermont Law School. He chaired the Vermont Bar Association’s Title Standards subcommittee for 7 years and the VBA Real Property Law Committee for 8 years. Andy and his wife have two grown sons. Prior to joining VATC in 2010, Jayne worked as a paralegal for a busy real estate law firm in Burlington. A native Vermonter and not your typical Nana, Jayne doesn’t sit around on the weekends working on counted-cross stitch. She’s usually on her road bike pounding out the miles in a century ride or working out her TRID aggression in a Spin class before work. Jayne has two grown children and two grandchildren. She and her husband, Steve, live in South Burlington.
Member Services Director
A member of the VATC team since 2004, Jenn spends most days on the road visiting with current VATC agents, as well as recruiting new ones. Jenn’s career in the real estate business began in Montana, followed by a stint in a high-volume Boston real estate law firm, and then on to real estate software sales and training. It wasn’t a direct route, however; Jenn has done everything from work on a ranch to selling investor relations technology services to Fortune 500 companies. Raised in mid-coast Maine and educated at the Universities of Maine and Montana, Jenn lives in the Mad River Valley where she can be found in cooking, biking, skiing, and hiking with her husband, Kris, in her free time.
Katie is a native Vermonter who graduated from Suffolk University. Prior to joining VATC in 2010, Katie worked as a legal assistant in two law firms. She has held a Realtors® license as well as a Top Secret Clearance from the U.S. Government. Katie lives in Milton with her husband, Sam, and daughter and she plays in a field hockey league. If you talk hockey with Katie you’d better be a Canadiens’ fan!
Judith joined the VATC team in 2016 as a member of our post-closing title update team. Prior to joining VATC, Judith conducted title searches for an independent searching company. A Rutland native and graduate of Dickinson College, Judith obtained her Master’s degree from UVM and worked for many years as a certified site technician and septic system designer in Vermont and Massachusetts. An avid reader and a costume seamstress for Lyric Theater, Judith lives with her husband Daulton in Essex Junction, and is designing and constructing a 1600 gallon rainwater collection system for her gardens.
Debbie grew up in Randolph with her parents and two brothers. She has lived all over Vermont and is now living in Groton with her husband, 3 Adult children and a granddaughter. She served as Town Clerk and assistant town clerk for nine years in the town of Northfield. After moving, she worked for herself doing title work for 13 years. She looks forward to the summer time when she can spend time with friends and family out at their camp on Lake St. Catherine.
